Collaborate, Innovate, Transform:

The Future of Soy in Ghana
The Soy Food Festival is an annual event celebrating the versatility and nutritional benefits of soy-based foods in Ghana, Uganda, and across Africa. Organized by the American Soybean Association and World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH), in collaboration with local partners, this festival aims to promote the incorporation of soy products into the daily diets of Africans while fostering entrepreneurship and influencing policy.

Our mission is to raise awareness about the nutritional value of soy and its potential to enhance food security and improve public health. By bringing together key stakeholders from various sectors, we explore the versatility of soy and its benefits for human nutrition, animal feed, and innovative applications.

This year’s festival features:

  • Soy Forum: Engaging discussions with industry experts, researchers, and policymakers on the future of soy in Ghana.
  • Soy World Exhibition: A showcase of innovative soy products, research, and technologies.
  • Networking Opportunities: Curated sessions to foster collaborations between Ghanaian and US stakeholders in the soy industry.
  • Soy-based Culinary Experiences: Demonstrating the versatility and nutritional benefits of soy in various dishes.
Join us this year on Thursday, September 19, 2024, as we explore the potential of soy to transform Ghana’s agricultural landscape, improve nutrition, and drive economic growth. Whether you’re a farmer, researcher, entrepreneur, or policymaker, the Ghana Soy Food Festival 2024 offers invaluable insights and connections to help shape the future of soy in Ghana and beyond.
